Bubble Whoman is a series of three round paintings \u2014 soft, airy, like pink chewing gum bubbles frozen in time. Their diameters \u2014 50 cm, 30 cm, and 20 cm \u2014 speak of three sizes, three moments, three gentle reminders that my faceless Whoman figures live here too, hidden inside these delicate spheres.<\/p>\n
Each bubble holds the same essence as my pink, faceless humans: the idea that we are fragile yet elastic, playful yet sealed off, sweet and light like a gum bubble stretching between our fingers.<\/p>\n
For me, Bubble Whoman is about freedom \u2014 about the invisible layers we blow around ourselves: dreams, fears, identities. Inside them all, there is always that pink little human who knows how to stay soft, flexible, unburdened.<\/p>\n
Hang these three together or apart \u2014 they stay in conversation, like bubbles floating through a memory of childhood, when blowing gum was a tiny act of rebellion and joy.
